I purchased same look like in the picture and it's sounding. My previous fake chips has dc in output pin. Today, I am going to make photo and will post in this thread.
My observations :
1) I purchased two chips sounding good individually.
2) With 12-0-12 transformer tda2030a & tda2050 loudness & quality approx. similar.
3) tda2050 bridge is not good a idea, does'nt sound very good & powerful

Of course they're gonna be the same on a 12-0-12 supply, which is going to be around +/-15v after rectification, but if your transformer is small it's gonna drop under load anyway.
The point of the TDA2050 is that it can be ran from higher supply voltage. Try +/-20v DC and the TDA2050 will go louder, where the 2030 will probably blow up at that voltage.
