A quick clarification question regarding the low-pass filter implementation on the potentiometer of the UNO amp.
According to the schematic the low pass filter should be implemented directly on the pot. Am I correct in assuming this means a resistor and capacitor in series, with one leg of the resistor soldered to the input tab of the pot, and one leg of the capacitor soldered to the ground tab of the pot ? Or is it just a case of connecting one leg of the resistor to the input tab of the pot, connecting the capacitor in series with the resistor and then connecting the capacitor directly to the signal ground, and not connecting it to the ground tab of the pot, as described above? Obviously a ground wire will also need to be soldered to the ground tab of the pot and then fed to a suitable signal ground location, and likewise an input wire will be soldered to the input tab on pot. Have I read the schematic correctly ? ![]() Thanks Last edited by westers151; 16th February 2010 at 06:43 PM. |
