Would you use a 4780 in a parallel or bridged configuration with 6 ohm speakers?

For simplicity sake I would suggest a PA-100 or PA-150 would suffice with at least a 28v-0-28v transformer.
Or a BPA-200 or BPA-300 if that is not enough power for you or if your worried about even harmonic distortions as asbjbo suggested.
Just remember to choose a transformer that has a VA rating that is about 30% to 50% higher than your total RMS power output becuase a class ab amplifier is only at the most 78% efficiant.
Also make sure you have adequate cooling aswell.
P4 cpu heatsinks are a good source as they can be found for as little as $6 a piece with a small fan to boot.
A P4 has 89watt TDP rating and many have used those heatsinks with good results.
Although rather expensive, depending on your source, you can't beat the looks of a large finned black heatsink as well.
Good luck and I hope to see the results of your project soon! jer
