Default Somebody recommand me a preamp for BPA150

Hi, I built a BPA150 amp a while ago and just love the sound. Can somebody recommand me a preamp that works well with it? Either SS or Tube.

Whats BPA150? Do you mean PA150 or BPA200(or 300)?
Anyway...
I can advice that;
OPA627 + BUF634 Preamp PCB Design
May be a bit expensive option but it really worth!

Yes, I meant the PA150. Is the board for the preamp still available?

"Either"

And that's where I get stumped.

You can use Tube or the solid state Moosefet to get some extrapolation from some sources (Creative labs X-Fi, some Mp3 players and some DVD players) that are otherwise flat dull dead and boring. You can use a single 6n11 Peking as a "de-headache" filter for MP4 audio which is on HD Radio (quite useful along with Audiovox/Terk VR1 to "stomp" loud advertisements).

You can use DRV134 to bridge PA150 into BPA300.

And you can use well made chip preamps to cleanly amplify up from line level, plus a buffer can be integrated for extra drive current, like the UCP.

There are also preamp and buffer projects at Decibel Dungeon.

There's two whole threads about the "best sounding opamp" one thread for mono models and one thread for stereo models.

Preamps come with much variety. I think selection depends on the source device.

toufu, tell us what are your expectations, e.g. active or passive, with or without tone control, voltage gain etc.
