Default bass, mid, high tone and balanse control

so making my first DIY amp using 2x2 lm3886 chips. Now They use one stereo (so thats like 2 in one) potentiometer on sound in for volume control now I was wondering how to make
1. balance control so that I can use another potentiometer for that independent on the volume control one. I guess that this isn't difficult to make.
2. How could I make bass, mid and high tone control. It would probably be another circuit

Default preamp stage

I did some research while designing my preamp stage. The Volume is done by op amp buffering then shunting the output. This is the fader stage.
A simple volume is gnd on one side, buffer out on the other, and the signal out to the amp is the wiper. Be sure to select the right side else clockwise with turn the signal down. (see attached)

The tone control is easy enough. It is a separate op-amp. Treble and bass are well documented. The midrange is a combination of both (cap across the potentiometer and inline of the wiper) the circuits. This is described in the national specification for LM353. Not the finest op-amp, but the 3 tone circuit is in the applications.
