Default AB switch for testing of amps

I will want to compare different chipamps soon. I have 2 nominally identical sources (music streamers).

What dangers are there to my speakers (or more importantly my friends speakers) if I switch between amplifier outputs whilst at listening levels?

What type of switches do I need?

This IP65 Centre Off Rocker Switch : Rocker Switches : Maplin will do for one channel I think?

Can I leave both amplifiers -ve speaker terminals connected to the speaker, and only switch the +ve terminals in and out ?
