LM 3886 gainclone & mute

I wish to use LM 3886 as gainclone. What about the ontimedelay/mute circuit? Is it ok to use mute circuit or not? Any other suggestion for making 50W/4ohm subamp with LM 3886 welcome.

my only comment/suggestion is to make sure you calculate your supply rail voltages (Vs) correctly - these chips aren't so crash hot at 4 ohm loads, at least in terms of power gain vs. heat. you get about 50W with 8 ohms with a +/-35v supply but (i think) you can get maybe 65W into 4 ohms. you are better off reducing the Vs to give you 50W output into 4 ohms. and due to the heat, try to get the ones that aren't totally encapsulated (i.e. the plastic cover comes between the backplate of the chip and heatsink).
