can I use centertapped transformer to act as a non centertapped one?
how can I get 0-24V with centertapped transformer that has 24-ct-24? is the transformer that has dual secondaries(0-24, 0-24) same as two non centertapped one(0-24), note :both has same VA ratings? |

yes, I do need dual polarity dc supply with two transformer, but I can not decide whether centertapped transformer or not I should use? it is hard to find transformer with dual secondary in indonesia.

you can make a dual polarity supply from one transformer. It must be either a centre tapped or a dual secondary. The dual secondary can be converted to a centre tapped by linking the two secondary windings together.

andrew, I can understand that, but what's in my mind is how can I make 24-ct-24 with two separated transformer if the transformer is 5A ct? the secondary voltage is 12-ct-12 each transformer. thanx.

Connect the two transformers together in series. The join between them becomes your centre tap ground.
