Default Low Pass Filter For Sub-Woofer

What do you think about pt2351?
What is first order? Second order? third order? and fourth order low pass filter?
Which order is better?

The order of a filter describes how quickly it attenuates the signal passing through it. There is no best type they are just different. "nd order filters are often used. However it depends on the system you are trying to intergrate the subwoofer with.

Often subwoofers are filtered using a second order filter high pass with a peak in the reponse to extend the bass performance. However to do this you need an acurate simulation of the speaker or measurment equipment.
