i have done with my chumoy amp based onDIY Simple Headphone Amp Tutorial: Cmoy Amplifier i dunno if its working or not because when i try connect to my mp3 player its working n have a sound.. but when i unplug the 9 volt battery or switch off my amp n its still working n have a sound.. iam little bit confuse why my amp still working when i unplug the battery.. can anyone help?

You may get sound with no battery but I would expect the level to be low and distorted possibly.
Maybe you have wired it up incorrectly (pictures )

It's a standard circuit configuration... if taking the battery out makes no difference you have it wired wrong

Hi, i had the same problem with cmoy .
The problem was the resistor in out r3 o r4 i don't remember, but the problem is an error in the connection Ciao Sergio |
