Has anyone here retrofitted a Chip amp into a 70s analog receiver. I have an 13 watt MCS 3012 that is a good looking machine, but is light on power. The internals are modular and I was planning on using the FM board, the bass/treble/Pot. board, and the transformer, but replace the rectifier and the 2 power amp boards with 60 watt monoblock kit amps from 41hz.
Any thoughts or examples? |
