Default Best and most powerful DIY Chip

Which one is best and most power full with best quality sound. LM3875 , LM38886 or tda7294. Is TDA7294 is better than LM3886. Or there is any other tda or stk chip which is most better .

The most powerfull chipamp is TDA7293, you can feed it with until +/-50v and have 100W RMS into 8R load. Also they can connect both parallel and bridge very easily then with like a BPA300 configuration you can get ~500W with just 6 x TDA7293!
However, if youre asking for the "best sounding"chipamp" then my vote would go for LM3875 (56W into 8R max.)..

I have been (ab)using single TDA7294 (not parallel) with +/-42V on a 4 ohm bass horn for 10 years with just 2 failures. It's probably the most powerful single chip solution in that size.

The TAS5630 can output 600W into 2 ohms.

If you're looking at more than that, you'll be best off with a discrete design.

Apex PA-03 power opamp.

...supposedly up to 1000 watts per device.

I may try it, I have 3 pieces.
I may try it with an SMPS to keep it smallish. (??)

Why build one ?

I
don't
quite
understand
either.

But look at the distortion vs power chart on the TDA7293 -- with a bridged LM4780 you can get 115W at 1/10th the distortion.

Sure... But there are two options; a powerfull amplifier with an acceptable THD value or a hi-fi amplifier with a lower power. And just one 7293 can give power as much as two 4780s...
By the way, I have a 4780 amplifier in my drawer.. And believe me, its not comparable with LM3875!

Apex PA03.

The last time I ordered a pair of puny to-3 style Apex devices for a work project (since put on hold, so I've managed to avoid telling the boss that I blew one up till now) they cost over $440 AUD each. I shudder to think of what they would charge for one of these:
