Perhaps you would enjoy a TDA7294+LM3886 shotgun wedding. Its easy. They can use the same voltage.
The TDA7294 can be very pretty and clear on mids and treble when and if its nearby power caps are 270uF and smaller (preferably smaller). The LM3886 has awesome clear bass and baritone.

Hi,
I'm new to this site. I was intrigued by Apex's PA 03 and found out they cost USD1,000 + a piece
I also have a TAS5630, which Im planning to use for a DIY project but for the moment, I am sticking to the old project that uses LF357 opamp, BD39 and BD40 drivers and IRF9240 and IRF240 for the output transistors. Squeezing 1000 watts per channel would entail more IRFs but the cost is very much less than the PA-03.

I don't know if you were referring to the PA03 as cheap cheap on Ebay coz I haven't found one. As for the IRFs, I tried the ones being sold from China and they were busted before the voltage cranked up past 47 volts

Not sure if this is relevant to this thread but I want to give my vote for the lm3875 chip. It is an audiosecter kit. But I do not like panasonic fc at all; I use elna 2200 uf outboard with smaller caps on the boards and a 500va ps. It is my favourite current amp. I have also lm3886 on chip wired, mp lm3886 ref c, lm4780, ska killer amp, aleph 30-P Daniel boards, bottlehead 300b monoblocks collecting dust!
