Default chu moy amp help!

i have solder the board, the power suply section today based on tangentsof.net chu moy instruction.. the problem is when i test it on multimeter the power suply does not have any current.. FYI im using different protoboard that recomend on tangen.. is it because the protoboard? or i must get the same proboard that recomend on chumoy?hope u can help me solve this problem.. thanks..

I'm afraid I don't understand you too well.

You say the PSU has no current. Do you mean Voltage? How are you measuring? You can only measure current in circuit with a load. I would test the voltage first.

Most handheld meters have a fuse in the current measuring circuit and 9 times out of 10 it is blown because someone measured volts in the current setting. If you are measuring current correctly and the reading is zero, I'd check the fuse.

Engineering 101 says:

check it's plugged in
check it's turned on
check the fuses are inserted.

If you have mains AC voltage on the primary of the transformer but no AC voltage on the secondary then the transformer is dead or you connected the windings out of phase.

Start at the mains and work forward until there's no volts. Then you will know where the problem is.
