Default How to measure DC offset on lm3875 GC

What is right:
input is open(nothing connected),output is open (no speaker connected), or
input is shorted with gnd,output is open

In first case DC offset in my NIGC is 210mV and in second case DC offset is 7mV http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/image...s/confused.gif

Measure the offset with the input shorted to the ground.

if you Measure the offset with the input shorted and you got 7 mv...
that is pretty good!!!! I got the same as you with my LM3875 integrated amp.
