LT1122ACN8, I asked for that...but never got it either.

BTW, an interesting link : Google Translate

oh well, I'll roll the 1361 in a minute...I want the 1364 sound w/ less distortion in the trebles.

I didn't like the 1355/1358..trebles were metallic to death.

1124 was good, might be worth a roll too...the SS on 1213 is AMAZING.

PS: yea OPA827 was too neutral to my taste.

OPA827... well neutrality doesn't sound like that to me. I think neutrality sounds very much like the LT1028. Or also like the AD797 (pity for the dryish mids of the 'A' grade, don't know about the 'B'). Maybe it sounds like the OPA1611, as well

yeah, it's hard to put words on sound sometimes

OPA827 was missing the 1364 magic on vocals basically...I'm currently running the 1361, there's more trebles than the 1364 that's for sure! need more time to test vocals and stuff...if not happy, 1213 is next

in fact rolling is evil, because there isn't a single "perfect from A to Z" op-amp around...they all have pros and cons.

I didn't hear the 1364 cons until I tried Sun V2, then it became hard to bear...1361 seems promising so far

Don't know, the LT1360/1361 are nice but I think after all the LT1363/4 are preferable.

Yes, evil indeed. You're bound to never stop, and it is not for your good.

I'm not unhappy (nor I am surprised) that eventually I removed those evil sockets in both my DACs. It was out of despair.

well, 1361 is less tubey than 1364...it boils down to more neutral or more colored.

I remember the SS is crazy on the 1213 anyway

PS: ahhhhhhhh, 1361 is really nice on lossless TrueHD soundtracks

humm, LT1211 and 1215 might be a worth a shot, they're the same family as 1028 apparently: Google Translate

but they say that 1211 is "Single Supply"...is that good or not? I can't tell

I'm gonna roll 1213 to refresh my mind.

The LT1211 is just a slower LT1213 - it's the same family. Faster than the LT1213 instead is the LT1215. They will surely sound a little different from each other.

Single supply... no problem, they also work on dual supplies up to +/- 15V.

LT1213 sounds great, it always did! it was just a bit too clean, but Earth makes up for it now...and SS is amazing, far better than the 136x family.

slower doesn't mean worse...and they're all available in "A" grade, gonna have to check them out I guess.
