Default Pro-Ject Headbox MKII Modding (JRC2068)

Hi I have here a headbox ii using the JRC-2068 as the main amp.... So far all I've done is replace the stock volume pot with a better one. It powers my cans well (Grado sr-325i) but the sound is pretty flat sounding and could be more dynamic IMO..... I am curious as to what I should start doing. Sadly I cannot source a schematic.

Other than replacing cheap caps and the like with higher quality parts, are there any circuit values I can change/etc? Also, would it be possible to run this chip in class-a? Thanks
