I have an old diy car subwoofer with AN7161 as the amp. The sound acceptable for me n my dad. I've crank it many times and it was do job well with no warm atall at heatsink touched. I realize this 8 ohm/100 w sub require more power than this chip can go(10watts??). So what chip should I use with the 12v car batt. supply? after searhing found that TDA7564(class D??) has 45w*4 but no stock at local store. The need is 1 output chipamp with high pwr and 12 volt supply (to reduce dc up converter cost). sorry with my english.
