Default Opa128sm_opa2107sm

The OPA128SM(single) and OPA2107SM(dual),both in TO99(metal can) are being rated as the best Audio Opamps within the orient hifi circles. They are almost obsolete items and costing a ton of money。And there are lot of remarked items circulating in the used market。
I myself haven`t tried one and the best that I am using right now are LME49710HA and LME49720HA。

I'm surprised that it would be desirable for audio, with only a 3V/uS slew rate. Then again, its input bias current is rated in femto-amps!

Well slew-rate isn't everything... OPA2107 is a popular replacement for stock op-amps because of the sound, OPA627 doesn't have amazing slew rate either, and LM6172 and its 3000V/µs doesn't sound any better.

But this kind of thread doesn't warrant any kind of response other than "ok, good for you".

Well, it's good for something. I just learned that slew rate may not be all its cracked up to be.

Thanks for the info.
