Hey!
Please forgive the novice-ness of my question, I hope it hasn't been covered too well in earlier posts. I've given up on the search function. Anyhow, I've played around with unity gain buffers for my guitar signal, and I've built a couple of these: http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/..._ic_buffer.pdf ...with quite convincing results. Anyway, I would like to modify it so that it inverts the signal, in order to couple one regular and an inverter into a balancing circuit. Question 1: How is this done? I'm suspecting it to be something as easy as switching pin 2 and 3 on the TL071, but I need it confirmed. Question 2: If I make a Direct Injection box with a such circuit, will it be a miserable fail, or will it work quite well? I guess this excludes any sort of ground lift. Regards, Emil |

this should help -> http://www.facstaff.bucknell.edu/mas...Note2Gain.html
if you look at the formula given you want the resistors to give you 1. I.e Vout = - Vin R0 / R1 so R0/R1 = 1 another example -> http://sound.westhost.com/project51.htm |
