I'm new here so this will be my first question
I'm really interested which chip amp sounds the best in terms of the price/perfomance. I'm interested in normal amps and also Headphone amps. Also does anyone know any good amp kits in europe? Thanks!!! |

Price/performance-wise the TDA2030AV is unbeatable at 0,30 €. Sounds good, but not extraordinary.
Good amp kits in Europe? It does not look as sexy as other kits, but this is a good implementation of the LM3886 and a good basis for tweaking. I. e. replace C2 with a bigger one, replace the slow-blow fuses with fast-blowing types, replace the trimmer with your volume pot and add a blocking cap before the pot. Later replace the components with better quality types. Here are good kits with the TDA7293. Better component quality -> higher price -> less tweaking potential.
