Hello DIYers,
I have two questions/requests: 1) What is the suggested maximum value in "uf" for the Cs capacitor? 2) Though this is unrelated, does aynone have schematics for an inrush current limiter/soft start circuit? (Transformers will be 300VA units.) I am building six amps: Two for the highs - single chiped. Two for the mids - double chiped. Two for the lows - triple chips. Please note, I am a beginner in these matters and I have slightly above zero knowledge of what I am doing. Thanks in advance for your suggestions and recommendations. |

Tough to say. If you have an inrush limiter, and time to wait, you can use virtually infinite capacitance.

Cs = 10uF+100nF works well, for mine I usually use 100uF PanaFC +100nF SMD ceramic soldered directly on the power pin.
