I lost my controller for my logitech Z-5300 after moving back from my college dorm. While doing research I came across the pin layouts for the Z-5500 and a DIY process to get it working. Are the pin layouts the same for the 5300 and 5500 sets? I tried searching the forums for a similar topic but to no avail. Was this already covered somewhere else? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

just got the 5300 from a neighbor and no controller either by shorting pins 6 & 7 toghter turns on the amp still trying to figure out the rest, seem slightly different from the 5500 but getting closer to the fix need to get a 10k pot and take it from there. Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

Any luck figuring out which pins need to be connected in order to get the sound working? I accidentally left my controller in one of about 30 boxes in my storage unit when I moved....
