I want to build a regulated supply for LM3886 based amp.
Each of two channels should have its own regulators.
From the grounding point of view what is the better approach:
- one transformer with 4 secondaries or
- two transformers (one per channel) with dual secondaries?
Thanks and regards,
Baki

Thanks, Andrew.
I'm still in doubt about what to build: two monoblocks or dual mono configuration and what is more easy and sound wise better to implement, if possible.
I am aware of what you have said at this thread - http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=127255&highlight=
Is it worth an effort to spend an extra money for two transformers, to build two monoblocks, instead of one with for secondaries, for dual mono?
In the case of two monoblocks the approach to grounding should be in the way of total physical separation between them including separate disconnecting network...right? The ground of one monoblock is connected via one signal channel with the ground of the source. Am I right?
Please help.
Thanks, Baki
