Thank you for pursuing this peranders, I had already paid Rhys for the boards for this project but was figuring that my money was gone. I have a few projects waiting to be built right now, but in 6 months who knows?

I have started to design and put in the ideas into a schematic. I want some help later on with finding in particular transformers available in the US.

The tube amp project is the major project that I'm working on. All victims will have free pcb's but right now no money I'm afraid.

You will never hear from Rhys again, I'm quite convinced of that. I have heard not so flattering rumors about him but without real proof, I'll leave it at that. My opinion is that his behavior is not all good hearted. There is also an element of deception involved here.

Thank you for the update Peranders, it has been a long time since anyof us had heard anything. Its nice to know that this project is still alive. How is it comming along? Any meat to the project yet?

I have had rather little to do at work for a long time but recently it's 100% so it has slowed down the design process a bit but at the same I have a tube dude near me which may become handy.

When I have a 99% ready schematic I will present it but right now I want to design in peace and quiet.

i wasnt participating in the initial thread but i'm very very interested in the results of your design. i'm pretty far away from you but i would like to offer assistance as needed to make this project move forward. i'm probably not as good as many of the members of this site, but i am willing to participate and help out as needed.

... soon... hm. Now I have got the time to do something. See the new thread in my sig. I see that rhysh has been online a few months back but we will not hear from him I'll imagine. My plan is to arrange a group buy but I won't promise when.

Started today with the pcb layout but I wonder a bit about suitable form factor. Basic idea is to have the transformers at the left, the "power" supply in the middle, the tube (or tubes) at the front and to the right and behind the tubes the LM3886. Any suitable case? Ideas?
