Hi guys
for those that have used the relay delay (to remove preamp 'pop') from Nuuk's website here, where did you find a suitable relay? The one recommended isn't stocked anymore. I can't seem to find a normally closed signal relay in the listings of cpc or farnel. any suggestions ? |

Those relays works usually pretty good and one of the best is NAIS and their SDS types, one of the most expensive too....
One of the best

Not for me thanks - just to temporarily shunt the signal to ground!

Omron's G6K series is a very good small signal relay. It is small, easy to get by and very reliable.
E. g. here. There may be cheaper sources, and the relays are also available in SMD version. The alternative is to buy any DPDT relay with the right voltage. In such an application even cheap relays will probably never fail. Look for relays with gold-plated or rhodium-plated contacts, if you can.
