It's been some time since this subject has come up, so I thought I would enquire as to whether anyone has made progress in this area. Anyone else interested? Would an LM12CL work? From the data sheet, it will drive capacitive loads. I would be driving 'stats with a nominal impedence of 6 Ohms and a minimum impedence of 2.5 Ohms. Since the LM12 appears to obsolete, what would be good replacement? FWIW, I have a power toroid with dual 30V, 10A secs. and two 16.5 in. x 3.5 in. x 5 in. heatsinks. Regards, Karl Lewis |
