chipamp LM1875 anyone built them?

I'm in the process of slowly assembling the stereo kit from Brian Bell.
Anyone else put them together yet? Debating things like putting zobel R & C on speaker terminals instead of PCB...thoughts? Also the kit contains a 22uF bipolar cap at C2, is this AC coupling for feedback resistors? Goes to gnd and R3 (1k or 680 ohm in my case).

I haven't gotten mine yet... as soon as i do, one set is going to replace the sat amps in a Keiga 2,1 plate amp.

About LM1875 .. vs. LM3875/LM3886 and more powerful chips.
I would always go for LM1875 .. before LM3875/3886
in the case I need some moderate wattage power.

And this is most any case with speakers of normal sensitivity and for normal living rooms at normal listening levels.
Especially for our normal consumer 8 Ohm speakers

Reason?
Well, it has to do with this rule

We should NOT use more force
than is necessary to handle the situation at hand.

This is what Police Force have to consider in their work.
This is what a good forum Moderator lives by.
And this is also a pretty good general rule for any man.
We do not need to take our car, for doing some household shopping in the food shop on the corner.
We can take a walk or ride our bike.


LM1875 is a real hi-fi & musical chip amplifier.
Compared to many other in the same price range.
And even compred to several more expensive chips.
You can not go very wrong, if go for LM1875
using kit from BrianGT chip amps website or some other LM1875 circuit.
