STK-4231V Muting Pin ?

I am finishing my amp with stk-4231v chip, old but good :-) based on the pcb i have found at http://320volt.com/stk42xx-serisi, but there is a muting function on pin 8 , can I left this pin just floating without to connect anywhere ? (there is no info in manual about this function http://satel.hu/file/document/Elektr...K/STK4231V.pdf)

i'use the 4231 and 4048 in an three way aktiv system.
