I have a small commercially built powered mixer that has developed a nasty habit of eating TDA1514As on one side.
This has me utterly bamboozled - and as these chips are getting a bit pricey I'd like to stop the carnage. The fault occurs when operating at modest output levels and not overly hot. Any insights appreciated. cheers M |

Check the power supply going to these chips. If it's too high, or way out of spec, you will have to diagnose why. Something is causing the chips to blow.
