Chip amp loudspeaker considerations

hey all..

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding loudspeaker choices that will match well with a basic gainclone amp? Along with building the dual mono kit from audiosector.com i also plan on designing and building a nice set of two way floorstanders using the Dayton Reference 7" woofer and the vifa dual concentric ring tweeter. The woofer has a sensitivity of 88db/1watt i believe and the tweeter is in the low 90's. So i am just wondering if this potential set up sounds like it might be a good match for a pair of mono block chipamps. I was also considering a completely different directional and building a backloaded folded horn enclosure for a 8" fostex fullrange, but i'd rather build the two way... so anyways, thanks a bunch for your input, cheers LukeDuke

It all depends how loud you are going to play. A LM3875 doesn't deliver particulary much power.
