hello!
some love AD8610/8620 some love AD8065/8066 some love AD825/797/etc what about AD8000 AD8009 ? 8000 http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0,,759_786_AD8000,00.html 8009 http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0,2877,AD8009,00.html what do you guys think of the specs ? i would like to give 8 of these a try on the auzen x-meridian, got the adapters already how do these opamp sound like ? |

Distortion is okay, better if gain is greater than 1. PSRR and CMRR are not very good, mind you the graphs don't show the audible band as this is an amp means for video applications. You'll want a cap in the feedback path to prevent oscillation (limit bandwidth), and a very clean power supply, which you're not going to find in a computer environment.
LM4562 is a much better solution, in my opinion. |

Uh... these are current feedback amps... a cap in the feedback loop will destabilize them!
I agree that these are not really appropriate for audio use. |
