I have 6 amplifiers to drive 6 speakers.
Is there any way to control all the 6 channel volume using just one pot? Is there any other way( that is used in modern day home theater systems) to add a volume up and down key to increase or decrease the volume of 6 channels? |

They make 6-gang potentiometers... they're expensive though.

what about the good old fashion alps pots, look up the ebay on alps pots, you will find it. OR See this site, on his implemenation for 6 channel vol. for DCX 2496. you have to adapt for your condition. http://www.linearaudio.nl/ |

Look at the Maxim DS1802
http://www.maxim-ic.com/quick_view2.cfm/qv_pk/2778 You can probably use 3 of them for 6 channels. Check their app notes. |

My inelegant approach should work too. But I don't think you will choose to get into the trouble, unless you are hardware enthusiast
