Default SSI Powerflex V

Just picked up a SSI powerflex V multichannel amp. Has 5 channels and uses the TDA1514A chip. SSi is no longer in business and I could not find any info on this amp. On their old website they have a Powerflex V2 rated at 40 w a channel and bridgeable. I know the TDA1514A is rated at 50w so I am assuming the amp is 50w per channel. First does anyone know about this amp. Second in has a RCA in and a RCA out for each channel. I know the in is where the preamp plugs in but what are the outs for? To make it bridgeable are they taking the out from one channel and feeding it into the in of another and connecting the speakers to the + of the 2 amps to give the 100w bridged? Any help would be appreciated. If anyone knows whats up I think it would be the Chip amp forum.

I had one of these many years ago. It is rated at 100w X 5 channels. It is not bridgeable. The newer V2 was brigdeable but only did 40w x 5 and 100w x 2 in bridge mode with 40 watts to the last channel. The output rca's to each channel were a feed of the input signal to other amps or subwoofer. It was a good sounding unit and was great for surround sound. It has 5 individual channels with a hefty torroidial and I think it uses 2 TDA1514A's per channel. I used one for years till I sold it when I upgraded my home theater system. Hope this helps.
