I've seen a digital volume control circuit made using DS1669 from Dallas semiconductors. Sadly, It is not available in area. Is there any substitute IC or circuit.
I need to control volume of 6 channel with a vol up and vol down key. Is there any circuit for that to use it in my home theater. Please help me unless i've to use the old analog potentiometer |

There is a microhip from dallas semi, which can control volume and does not require a mcu, check their website.
It is MAX5406 (just remembered the name of the chip) there is another one from AD which can control six channel volume but will require a mcu. |

Dallas and Maxim are the same company. If you can't get parts from them, you may be out of luck.
