Red face 6 channel digital volume control

I've seen a digital volume control circuit made using DS1669 from Dallas semiconductors. Sadly, It is not available in area. Is there any substitute IC or circuit.

I need to control volume of 6 channel with a vol up and vol down key. Is there any circuit for that to use it in my home theater.

Please help me unless i've to use the old analog potentiometer

There is a microhip from dallas semi, which can control volume and does not require a mcu, check their website.
It is MAX5406 (just remembered the name of the chip) there is another one from AD which can control six channel volume but will require a mcu.

Dallas and Maxim are the same company. If you can't get parts from them, you may be out of luck.
