Hi guys,
I found the blown resistor on the board of my gemini 3-chanel mixer (master not working). I replace the resistor with the same value, and after 10 seconds the master output (resistor) has blown again. Here is the schematic with op amp and shown blown resistor on the negative supply rail. What can be the couse of this problem? Should I put resistor with 1/2W? Thanks in advace for help!!! Regards, Miodrag Pejin

The opamp might be bad or the bypass capacitor shorted.

Agreed. Since R781 didn't blow, I would look for the bad part is in the circuit where 'Y' leads to. |
