Hi,
like in subject, wich is the best Gainclone's KIT (or other chip-amp KIT) to choose for P1.7 matching ? Other parameters that I would want to find are: - Easy to build and tuning (I'm a beginner, PCB building and good istructions/advice are welcome) - Output power around 100W into 8 Ohm - Enable to connect with balanced and unbalanced source - Of course, good sound :-) Thanks for any suggestions ... |

Ciao sindaco
why don't you build a F4 instead? i think that's the REAL match to P1.7 Among with GC there are not many that can fire 100W... btw why you need so much power? If you're still thinking about GCs, you can try a simple design, maybe a kit from chipamp or audiosector. I built one and fed by 2 SMPS units and it sounds very good to me. |

Hi marginwalker,
thanks for your suggestions I didn't know F4 till now, I find some info about in Pass-Labs section but do you think it's a good project for beginners ? Please, can you write me your experience about F4 building at: ##fabio.##goti@##poste.it (remove ##) ? Thanks |
