PLEASE READ:
Hello, all! I didn't forget about this one quite yet . I will be posting new pictures on diyAudio very soon! In the meanwhile, I would just like to remind that I am currently working on the BPA300 v3. Contrary to what I have said in the past, I will no longer be using LM4780. I'm going straight back to using LM3886 ICs due to the fact that they are much easier to use for this kind of application. The new design will be much more dynamic than before and as posted in some thread flying around, will deserve to have an air-freshener placed inside (this step is completely optional).HOWEVER: THIS DESIGN HAS NOT YET BEEN TESTED! By tested, I mean no PCBs made at all yet. I will make a completely new thread once the design has been perfected. So until then, DON'T GO OFF AND MAKE PCB'S WITHOUT TELLING ME! Please enjoy the process of trial and error of fixing PCB designs! Also, note that this thread is for the development of the BPA300. As stated above, there will be another dedicated thread for all of the final work (stuff you can do without having to go mad PS: I am repetitive here for a reason: so that nobody freaks out. Theses threads will be for the BPA300 BPA300 PRIMARY DESIGN DEVELOPMENT (This one.) BPA300 PCB DEVELOPMENT (The one for testing PCB designs.) BPA300 RELEASE (Once the BPA300 is perfect, we put the stuff here.) Cheers, · : DJ EXPRICE : · |

Here is an EAGLE library file for some of the components in the design. The 62PXX-XX is thrown in for good measure.

Hi DJ. It's really best to keep everything in one thread because it's all about the same project and you don't have to look multiple places for different aspects of a design. It is a good idea to keep this thread separate from your other bpa300 thread though.
