Hi all,
I'm curious about :
1. What is the black material underneath the amp/PSU
2. What is the negative input capacitor value and why Kimura san uses it this time. Is there any sound benefit?

sharpi31, thank you for the ceramic information! It's very interesting.
Now, about the cap, in my opinion it is a feedback capacitor that ensures unity gain at DC. As you can see at the picture it is betwen the earth and the inverting input resistor. This is a step back from simplicity of Gaincard, but maybe it brings some sonic advantage. What do you think?
