did you notice any difference (sonically)?
obviously caddocks makes your wallet/bank much much lighter. Thank you for the replies

I've used Dales in a couple of chipamps and Caddocks in one. I've also used Radio Shack carbons, Xicon 1% metal films and NTE 2% metal films.
I'd put the NTEs up against both the Dales and the Caddocks. The Xicons seemed to be just a tad more noisy and the carbons were about the same as the Xicons. Actually for 99% of people I think any of those resistors would be perfectly acceptable.
