12v Chip

Hi,
i have been looking for a decent quality chip amp that could supply around 6-10 watts into an 8 ohm load from a 12v battery.

i looked into the Lm1875 chip and it seemed alright.. but how much power would it put out with only 12v?

please suggest any chips (schematics help even more) that are available in australia.

12 Volt chip

Look at the TDA7370. Its a quad 7 watt chip which can be bridged to a dual 20 watt RMS chip from a 15 volt supply. Plenty of data on the net for it. They are available from WES components at $9.95 each.

Why dont you have a look for T-Amps... I heard a lot of good things about them..
