BrianGT Amp board, Rz2.7 2 w, Cz 0.1 cap

What are these doing in the Stereo amp circuit?

I searched, no luck.

Z for zobel. These are optional but may prevent the chip going into oscillation if the speakers are a tough load. I guess you missed the Zobel Wars of 2004.

Default BrianGT Stereo Amp board

Thank You for the Z info..

At the input is R1 a 1K r, then R2 22K ohm goes to ground.

What is R2 22K ohm doing in the circuit?

R1 is explained in the LM3883 datasheet.

R2 (22k) is providing the input impedance for the amp.

Is that why a 25K volume pot is recommended?

I used a 250K dual pot. (all I had), Should I make some changes?
