What are these doing in the Stereo amp circuit? I searched, no luck. Thank You |

Z for zobel. These are optional but may prevent the chip going into oscillation if the speakers are a tough load. I guess you missed the Zobel Wars of 2004.

Thank You for the Z info..
At the input is R1 a 1K r, then R2 22K ohm goes to ground. What is R2 22K ohm doing in the circuit? R1 is explained in the LM3883 datasheet. Thank You |

R2 (22k) is providing the input impedance for the amp.

Is that why a 25K volume pot is recommended?
I used a 250K dual pot. (all I had), Should I make some changes? Thank You. |
