Hello,
I just wanted to know what people though of this schematic, I had my boards made by a friend with very good background knowledge, I gave him Brian's schematic to etch but he changed the circuit and etched it for with his design... Will the circuit shown below result in any downfalls in comparison to Brian's design? I have actually build it to my friends design spec and it sounds amazing, although I don't know what one with Brian's set of components sounds like. If anyone thinks something needs changing please say, I want it the best I can get it to sound Thanks.

Anyone ? I just want to know if I'm getting the full quality out of the gainclone with those set of components.
If the design is fine and the output quality will be the same as Brian's please say, I never actually wanted the design changed. |

This is just a standard non-inverting design. No difference from Brian's except the caps are a bit smaller and there's an output choke instead of a zobel (same function). I'm not surprised it works well.
