Default Deflex Power Pads

Anybody ever use these Deflex Power Pads for the insides of your car doors? Its supposed to capture and deflect the back wave, however from thinking the ridges are so small they'd only affect higher frequencies, as in tweeter range, which does not have the "rear wave" problem.
