Coustic 801

Afternoon all,

Wondering if anybody has a schematic for this Coustic Amp 801.

I see many of these amps with very similar problems.

Some have shorted outputs, some have open electrolytics in the output stage.

Would love to see the schematic for this thing.

Anybody?

if you can't find the one for the coustic 801 look for a schematic for the mtx thunder 801D . MTX owns coustic and the power ratings between those amps are exactly the same. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same amp internally.

If the output section is like the 801d, you can get a very good view of the output section with a sony xm-d1000p5 schematic. There are few differences. The values are close but the circuit board designations for the components are of no use. I used a 6500d to compare them. The 801 is essentially the same.
