Hi to everybody,
I have a pioneer CDX-M12 CD changer and it needs to be repaired. I have searched on internet but could not find the srvice manual. Anyone have? I have tested the instrument with the DEX-M400. I think the M12 has a laser pickup problem and it is hard to find in Turkey. It uses CGY1027. When I have inserted a CD to magazine the pickup strikes to the CD while reading. Are there anyone experienced on reparing this? or what is your suggestions? Kind regards |

Is there a Pioneer parts distributor that could ship to your country? They have the part listed on their U.S. site: http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/...uctNum=CGY1027 but unfortunately it is out of stock and the E.T.A. is 60 days...

Thanks for the link Jexx. It is expensive and requires to wait. In fact the pickup is not expensive but, the shipping cost, task etc. will take twice of the pickup. Do you or someone advise another solution? For eg, replacing the CD tray, or another pickup for replacemet instead of original.
