Linear Power
Hello,
I worked at Linear Power for several years back in the early 90s until they went away (closed/sold/run under).
The 652 + i model + iq model used TIP141 and TIP146 Motorola, TO-218 125W power darlingtons for outputs.
The non-driven version of the power supply used 2N6486 NPN TO-220 power devices as switchers. The later driven supplies used SMP50N05 MOSFETs.
Simple amp, worked pretty well, sounded decent, way over-priced.
Hope this helps a little.
