where to get sub signal from

i have a 1998 Toyota 4Runner Limited edition with the stock head unit in it. and i put a 10 pioneer sub and a 400watt rampage amp in it.

but, i cant figure out where to get the signal for the amp

any sugestions would greatly be appriciated

Take the rear speaker signal (from the rear speakes seems like the most logical idea), run it through a line out converter, and then run the rcas to the amp.

ya but there are no rear speackers al the bass comes from the 4 middle speackers

Then get it from there. But if this is the case, I think it might be easiest to tap into the wires behind the head unit.

my amp has a port called hi-input
cant i just take the signal off the middle ones and put it in the high in the amp?

yes, just plug your wires to the high in
