Amp questions

I currently have an old school PPI am 2x150 bridged 600 watts into 4 ohms,powering 2 10" id d4 in a sealed enclosure.
I 'm into SQ but want a little more bass.Should I get a bigger amp,possibly a class d(are they much better than A/B amps).its possible I can get an old school Kicker 500si,which would give 875 watts into 4 ohms or 1100 into 2 ohms.
I am also looking to get a new sub, the ID are bout 7 yrs old and am considering a TC1000,possibly ported.

Class D amps usually have more distortion than class A/B, and you can't really tell it down at the low frequencies and that's why they're used for subwoofer amps usually.

If you want pure SQ, stick with an A/B amp
