the truth is that i only know the basics.. bottom basics.. like how to connect the equipment.. amplifiers speakers and that stuff.. but right know ii dont know anything about bridging and that stuff.. or how an amplifier works.. but first of all im here becouse i have a question.. i qot a 500 w xplod amplifier xm-504z .. i think an xplod is good for being the first one.. and a 12" BOSS Riot subwoofer.. 500w too.. and i dont know how amplifiers work.. but my logic tells me that there are 500 watts divided in each output.. total 4 outputs.. 2 front speakers.. 2 right.. and its like 125 watts each output.. i think maybe im so wrong .. and forgive me its only my logicc.. but if it is like i said .. i think this is the best connection i can do.. so if its not.. please tell me.. i wont do anything before im sure of what to do.. thannks..

For this amp:

RMS Power at 4 Ohms = 50 W x 4
RMS Power at 2 Ohms = 60 W x 4

This amp is not bridgable, from what I read. It will be good for powering 4 door speakers. Additional amp will be needed for a sub.

From the Sony web site, new ones are bridgable! You will get 120W RMS on 4-ohm sub with channels bridged. I wouldn't run it on 2 ohms.
